Hey there, I’m Kelly!

I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist, early intervention specialist, and former in-home child care owner. I received my Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Speech Language Pathology from Towson University and have been a practicing licensed SLP since 2009, working with children ranging in age from birth to 5 in both homes and child care settings.

But before becoming a speech therapist, I ran my own licensed in-home child care. I lived the challenges of meeting regulation, supporting children’s development, and finding approved trainings that were relevant and helpful (and those trainings were few and far between!)

So, I built Bridging Child Development to change that.
