Kelly is such a 'user friendly' presenter! Her techniques are relevant and directly parallel what we (preschool teachers) can apply to our classrooms."
This training was the most interesting subject I have had in Bridging Child Development. I was able to implement the science activities and vocabulary, even with my young children."
I liked the examples that could be used the next day in class. Consistent format and set up of the sections in the class. Engaging with other teachers via the teachers helping teachers section."
Science activities become more powerful when you know what words to teach
Frequently Asked Questions:
Are the Science activities appropriate for toddlers? Or is this only for preschool teachers?
The vocabulary strategies and science activities are developmentally appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers. They can be used in different early childhood settings — home family child care, center based programs, and school settings.
I don’t really do Science in my classroom, should I take this training?
Yes! This training is designed to make science simple and doable. You’ll learn easy, hands-on science activities you can add to your day — no complicated setups or special materials required. Seriously!! Not adding anything more to your plate!
Will these science activities require expensive materials or lots of prep?
No, not at all! The activities are designed using common classroom materials and realistic setups that fit busy early childhood classrooms.
Is this training mostly about science or mostly about vocabulary?
Both. You’ll learn how to use hands-on science experiences as opportunities to intentionally teach vocabulary so children understand, remember, and use new words.

I kept hearing the same thing: "Our trainings don't teach us this." So I created trainings that do!
No fluff. Just practical strategies designed to fit naturally into everyday routines with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
