What Directors have to say about our trainings:
Teachers have shared how much they benefit from her relatability, practical content, and the detailed resource guides she provides after each session, which continue to support their work long after the training ends."
— Sherron Murphy-Brown, Deputy Chief, Education & Youth Programs Martha’s Table, Washington DC
Her depth of knowledge is evident, and she always explains complex concepts clearly and thoroughly. Her trainings include theory with practical examples, making the material easy to understand and retain. I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone seeking high-quality professional development."
— Megan Brown, Director, The Bryn Mawr Little School, Baltimore, Maryland
Her courses cover essential early childhood topics in areas that truly need thoughtful attention in early learning environments. Kelly provides practical, printable resources that can be immediately implemented in the classroom, along with clear summaries of each session that are perfect for quick refreshers later on. Her enthusiasm and passion for early childhood education shine through in every course, making the learning both engaging and impactful."
— Megan Peck; M.Ed. Pennsylvania
Her courses are not only thorough but engaging and creative. Kelly's training sessions are always relevant, consistently connecting theory to real-world classroom practice. Her teaching models and resources provide developmentally appropriate approaches that our teaching staff can easily apply to lesson plans.”
— Aneesah Blocker, Bryn Mawr Little School, Baltimore Maryland
We are able to implement so many of your teachings immediately. Several teachers are referencing new ideas, like circle time approaches, in planning meetings. The staff really respect you and enjoy your presentation style. Thank you! We will see you later in the school year."
— Mary Poston; Wesley Freedom UMC Early Years Learning Center, Eldersburg Maryland
Professional development that actually pays off
Get your whole team on the same page
When everyone learns together, your staff leaves with the same strategies, language, and approach.
Foster continuity of care
Because your entire staff is trained together, strategies are more likely to be used consistently throughout the center — across teachers, classrooms, and routines.
Strategies they can use the very next day
Interactive discussions, group activities, and real-life examples keep staff involved and make the learning easier to remember and apply.
Comprehensive digital handbook
Packed with everything from the training, including videos, resources, checklists, parent handouts — theirs to keep forever.
State-approved hours and CEUs
Certificates emailed within 48 hours so you have a digital copy for all staff and hours are reported to state registries when applicable.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Is Bridging Child Development recognized by IACET and NWRA?
Bridging Child Development is an IACET-accredited provider. This means every training meets the highest standards for professional continuing education, and your CEUs are recognized across the US and internationally. We are also a Training Organization with the National Workforce Registry Alliance.
How do I schedule a private training for our child care center or preschool?
Fill out the inquiry form here. I will be in touch to gather additional details and confirm your training date and time. The process is super easy!
How do we pay for the private training?
Once your contract is signed, you will receive an invoice. Payment is due 2 weeks prior to a training. If you have more than 20 people, you pay for the first 20 people and an invoice is sent after the training for the remaining participants- that means you only pay for the people who attend!
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel with more than 2 weeks notice to the training date, you will get your choice of credit towards another training, or a refund.
If you cancel with 2 weeks or less notice, there is no credit or refund.
If the trainer cancels for any reason at any time, your organization will be given 3 options:
- Take the training on an agreed upon rescheduled make-up date
- Apply your training fee to the self paced training format
- Refund
Are these trainings in-person or virtual?
It depends. In person in Maryland and the surrounding areas and virtually for centers anywhere in the country. Either way, the training is fully interactive, hands-on, and built around your team's needs.
Can staff in multiple locations attend the same virtual training?
Yes. All staff can be together in one room on one device, multiple locations can join from their own space, or individual staff members can each log in from their own device, whatever works best for your team.
Can we combine two trainings for a full day of professional development?
Absolutely. Any two trainings can be combined for a full professional development day.
I created these trainings around the questions I get asked by early childhood educators each week
And I kept hearing the same thing: "Our trainings don't teach us this." So I created trainings that do!
No fluff. Just practical strategies designed to fit naturally into everyday routines with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
