Wyoming Child Care Training | Wyoming STARS Approved Online Courses

Yes. Bridging Child Development is an approved training sponsor through Wyoming STARS — the Statewide Training and Resource System. All courses are accepted by the Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS) for training-credit requirements for directors, staff, providers, substitutes, and volunteers in licensed child care programs.

Yes. Training credits logged in the Wyoming STARS Registry contribute to your Career Ladder placement — Wyoming's system for recognizing and advancing professional development, experience, and education in the early childhood field.

32 hours every 2 years. 
It is important to note:

• Staff working with infants or toddlers must complete at least 4 hours of specialized infant/toddler training every two years, and Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification must be kept current (separate from your 32 credits).
• New staff also complete pre-service training and facility orientation before — or within 3 months of — their start date.

Yes. Our courses provide CEUs and professional development hours applicable toward Wyoming CDA training and renewal. Scholarship support for the CDA may also be available to Wyoming providers — check current options with Wyoming DFS / Wyoming Quality Counts.

Yes. You will receive a certificate after completing each course for documentation of your training hours. For live virtual trainings, your certificate is emailed within 48 hours. For self-paced trainings, your certificate is available immediately after the certificate module and never expires.
