What age group does this training apply to?
This training covers the full early intervention process from birth through preschool, including both early intervention services (birth–3) and school-based services for preschool-aged children (3–5). The strategies apply to infant, toddler, and preschool educators.
I don’t really understand early intervention. Will this break it down for me?
Yes! This training walks you through the entire early intervention referral process from referral to services in a step-by-step format. We cover early intervention for birth to 3 years (IFSP’s, early intervention) and 3-5 services (IEPs, child find preschool services). Both programs are federally mandated and available in every state in the USA.
Is this training only helpful if I currently have a child receiving services?

After you complete the course, you will automatically be enrolled in the certification module. Your certificate is available immediately after completing the course evaluation and passing the quiz. Your certificate is stored inside your account dashboard and this module never expires, making it easy to download it again anytime you need it.

Yes! The very first section within the course prompts you to record your registry number. Make sure to complete that section! I report hours to the registry the second week of every month.
