Is this training only for infants, or will it work for toddlers too?
This training is designed for infant and young toddler teachers and covers language development from 3–15 months; however, if you have a late talking toddler or a child with developmental delays, this training will have strategies you can apply to support their language development.
What if I work with multilingual children?
This training addresses common myths about language development and includes information about supporting multilingual learners.
I already talk to my babies all day, will this still be helpful?
Talking to your babies is very important, but there are more strategies than that to get babies and toddlers using their first words. This training includes video examples, planning tools, and 7 concrete strategies so you can see exactly what language support looks like in everyday interactions.
Do I need to be a speech therapist to use the strategies?
No, of course not! The strategies are used by speech therapists but broken down specifically for early childhood educators so you know what the strategy is, why it matters, and how to use it in everyday child care routines.
